Guest musicians
Phil King
Singer-songwriter & guitarist
As a singer-songwriter, Phil King has the whole trinity: a beautiful, soulful singing voice, deft skills at playing the guitar, and the capacity to write elegantly worded and powerful songs. His album The Wreckage received excellent media attention with Radio 2’s Bob Harris describing him as “absolutely brilliant” and “a song weaver”.
Louise Victoria Hunt
Vocalist
Louise has been singing from an early age, recently graduating with a First in music performance and composition at the University of Southampton, moving straight into the professional world of music, performing Jazz and Soul. Described as a musician who “defines elegance with lilting jazz vocals”, it’s not surprising that she lists the great Ella Fitzgerald among her influences, along with current jazz artists such as Gretchen Parlato and Liane Carroll.
Ruth Hammond
Pianist, saxophonist & vocalist
Ruth Hammond is a renowned pianist, saxophonist and vocalist. Her versatility has taken her from gigs on the jazz and world music stage in a muddy field at Glastonbury to playing with a full jazz orchestra at Soho’s infamous jazz club Ronnie Scotts; from parties on a boat along the Thames to theatre productions at the National on the Southbank. In between international tours with signed artists you’ll also find her in local jazz joints in Bristol and residencies at her local pub.
Guest musicians
Oliver Hosier
Pianist
Oliver is a vibrant and dynamic musician who honed his skills in the clubs and bars of Edinburgh. Partly following his success as part of Channel 4’s “The Piano” competition, Oliver’s career has taken off and his videos have been seen millions of times online. These days Oliver prefers to bring his musical skills to the live stage; including Téatro, where he focuses on his love of 70s and 80s pop music.
Georgina Davey
Vocalist, guitarist & pianist
Georgina Davey is a self-taught singer, guitarist and pianist. At age 18, Georgina busked her way around Europe, learning new skills, collaborating with other blossoming international musicians and establishing herself as an all-round artist. Over the years Georgina has worked with several record labels creating original songs. With a forward thinking and creative musical style, Georgina’s originals and covers are both unique and captivating, whilst also being ahead of the trends and enjoyable for audiences of all ages.
James Alexander
Pianist & vocalist
Classically trained since the age of five, James has built up years of experience playing in venues around the world, most prominently as a piano bar entertainer.
